Planning for Sobriety
During your stay at Spirit Lodge, you will receive guidance from supportive experienced counselors and medical staff to assist you in your recovery from an addiction to drugs or alcohol. As you participate in the Living in Balance portion of your drug and alcohol treatment program, a series of educational sessions will be presented to aid you in furthering your comprehension of the disease of addiction and the ways that you can overcome your alcohol and/or drug dependence.
You will learn that achieving sobriety takes courageous effort and planning. The holistic addiction treatment program you will experience at Spirit Lodge will include information regarding planning for sobriety, proceeding along the path toward recovery from an addiction and learning more about decisions involved in addiction relapse and addiction triggers.
Processes in Sobriety and Addiction Relapse
Participating in your own recovery during your stay at the Spirit Lodge residential treatment center will include taking the chance to reflect on the ways that both achieving recovery from an addiction and falling into addiction relapse are processes. This reflection will be based on solid information provided during your addiction treatment program.
As your progress in your holistic addiction recovery treatment and take in the information provided to you, it will be important for you to relate your own personal experiences in your life to identify what warning signs you have seen in yourself that could be a part of the addiction relapse process over time.
