During the Living in Balance portion of your holistic addiction treatment program, you will be exposed to a number of ways to deal with triggers, initially by learning how to identify these triggers that may lead them into abusing drugs or alcohol.
At times, it is difficult for the individual suffering from an addiction disease to readily recognize their own triggers in addiction, which is one of the reasons that this educational process is especially helpful in meeting the unique needs of each of our guests as they strive toward successful addiction recovery.
Learning What Your Personal Addiction Triggers Are
It takes this process of learning how to identify what your personal addiction triggers are in order to realize what scenarios in your life would best be avoided in order to reduce the likelihood of returning to drug abuse and active alcoholism.
As you progress in your drug rehab or alcohol rehab treatment, you will be helped to understand that while each person is different, addiction triggers can potentially affect you anywhere from days to many, many months after you actually cease to use drugs and alcohol.
