Aftercare Recovery Program

Once addiction has grabbed hold of us it can be very difficult to control, even after graduation from successful recovery. More than half of all addicts relapse within the first year of recovery. The initial weeks and months of freedom and sobriety are tough. Without maintaining a commitment to aftercare therapies that help to consolidate the lessons of rehab, the realitiesof the outside world can overwhelm. At The Spirit Lodge we make sure that we are doing all that we can to help you beat this disease. As much as we enjoyed having you as a guest at the Spirit Lodge, we hope that you never have to come back to us, due to a relapse.

Aftercare Program through Right Step

A big part of drug and alcohol recovery is to become involved in an Aftercare Program or an Outpatient Program that focuses on relapse prevention. Aftercare Treatment is made available to all Spirit Lodge guests through our sister company Right Step. Aftercare is offered at no cost for two years following your stay at our facility. The Right Step’s Aftercare Program gives you continuing support and reminds you of what you need to do to stay sober. The Aftercare Program consists of one counselor-led group each week providing support, counseling and referrals. Our weekly Aftercare Service groups meet in convenient locations that are close to where you live or work. You’ll stay connected with others who are recovering, learn about support systems out in the community and form a close bond with people who are active in their recovery programs.

Outpatient Treatment Services: Right Step

The Outpatient Program offered through our sister treatment center, Right Step is the perfect way to continue with your recovery outside the confines of residential treatment. The Right Step is the largest alcohol and drug treatment center in the south western part of the country. With over 20 year’s experience, Right Step has been providing addiction recovery services to individuals suffering from chemical dependency.

The Outpatient Program is designed for individuals who would like continue recovery treatment once they have graduated from residential stay. While participating in the Right Step’s Outpatient Program, you will spend up to 10 hours each week (at least 3 days a week) in a structured, supportive setting led by licensed professionals. Schedules vary from office to office with day and evening times available. The outpatient program uses 12-Step and proven clinical treatment methods to help you to continue to make positive changes in your life.

The Outpatient Program is also offered as a standalone program for those that do cannot commit to a residential stay or do not require a higher level of care. For some, the complexities of life will not allow them the luxury of a 30-90 day residential stay. If you are unable to take a break from school, work or other responsibilities we encourage you to consider the Right Step’s Outpatient Program. Whether you use the outpatient program to continued treatment or as a standalone program, you will participate in the following activities:

• Group counseling
• Individual counseling
• Groups for men and women
• Family group
• Spirituality awareness
• Relapse prevention
• 12-Step meetings (off-site)

• Education classes
