Recovery Coaching - Drug & Alcohol Abuse Recovery
Spirit Lodge is proud to provide a unique service for each of our guests. The Recovery Coaching program provides 11 months of phase two continuing care and support after the guest has completed our program and returned home. Unlike other centers, Spirit Lodge's Recovery Coaching is provided by the guest's Primary Therapist. This assures continuity of care while allowing each participating guest to receive the support they need during the most vulnerable stage in recovery.
The transition between residential treatment and returning home can be a difficult and fragile period for those new in recovery. Relapse behaviors are more likely to reappear without a positive support system and healthy alternatives. Recovery Coaching offers our guests at Spirit Lodge the guidance and accountability they need to keep them on track and focused on their continued sobriety.
Recovery Coaching ensures that our guests follow through with their aftercare plans, attend appropriate 12-Step meetings and therapy appointments, are managing medications and continuing to implement the healthy life styles they began while in residence at Spirit Lodge. By providing someone to hold them accountable, with regard to their commitment to recovery, and offering intervention at the first sign of relapse behaviors, we can greatly increase the success rates of our guests.
While the standard follow-up program is offered to all of Spirit Lodge guests, an enhanced Recovery Coaching program is available for those wanting an intensive support structure upon discharge.
