Contact your insurance company directly to discuss the details of your policy, as most insurance plans have some type of out of network coverage to assist you with getting addiction treatment to overcome your dependence on drugs or alcohol.
While Spirit Lodge prefers to receive full payment from each guest directly, we also understand that, because insurance benefits may decrease your out of pocket cost, some may want to utilize insurance coverage for the addiction recovery process.

Due to the administrative time and effort required to verify coverage, authorize care, and, the toughest job of all, collect for the services, our insurance company rates for addiction treatment at Spirit Lodge are considerably higher than the discounted rates for those who self-pay in advance. However, your out of pocket portion when using insurance should be less than if you pay the discounted advance self-pay rate. Insurance companies often deny benefits or pay at lower rates for addiction treatment.
Please be aware that Spirit Lodge cannot mandate that your insurance company assume responsibility for your fees. An insurance policy is a contract between you and the insurance company. We often need you to assist us in dealing with your insurance company. Interacting directly with your insurance company is in your best interest.
Drug Rehab & Alcohol Rehab Insurance
In order to obtain maximum coverage for your addiction recovery treatment and ensure that payments are made, you should submit a request to your insurance company to give Spirit Lodge a “single case agreement.”
Spirit Lodge drug rehabilitation and alcohol rehabilitation center staff will give you an estimate of your out of pocket expense. However, you are responsible for our discounted $600 self-pay day rate for any treatment days not authorized by your insurance company.
Additionally, your insurance company may also receive bills from our physicians and lab testing company.
